Beyond Blue Festuca provides year round foliage interest. This plant produces attractive fine blue foliage that will not brown out throughout the year. Beyond blue is excellent when used in a container or as a mass planting or border. When planting this grass, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in Spring.
